On November 4, 1939.
On November 3 in the evening Erkko gave an interview to foreign journalists. The main objective was to weaken the significance of the leading article of "Pravda" which, as spoken here, in a deadly way affected the government, alarmingly — Erkko. In Helsinki there are many Englishmen, a considerable part of them knows the Russian language. Finland carries out military measures. A big concentration of troops in Kausala is observed. From Sweden through Tornio a lot of various arms are received in Finland, in particular antiaircraft artillery.
