Literary works

2008 Co-author with Antero Uitto in the book Suomea rajan takana 1918-1944. Suomenkielisen neuvostokirjallisuuden historia ja bibliografia. (Finnish on the other side of the border 1918-1944. The history and bibliography of literature published in Finnish in the Soviet Union.) ISBN 978-951-692-705-6.

The Finnish National Library collection consists of some 2,600 titles of this literature published in Leningrad and Petrozavodsk. Almost all publications, 3,600 in total, were destroyed in the Stalin purges of 1937-1938. The National Library of Finland prepared, in 2009, large scale display posters about these books, with a narrative by Antero Uitto both in Finnish and in Russian. They have been exhibited in Helsinki, Turku, Joensuu, and in Russia in the National Library of Karelia, Petrozavodsk, and in the National Library of Russia, St. Petersburg. The posters were on display together with still existing books from each library's stockrooms.

2013 Member of the Finnish editorial staff for Dr. Pavel Petrov's bibliography of Russian literature on the Finnish-Soviet war of 1939-1940, known as the Winter War. The book of 354 pages consists of, in addition to the bibliography of the years 1939-2011 itself (4,500 entries), Dr. Petrov's article about how the picture of the Winter War has changed in Russian historiography since 1939 till now, Antero Uitto's article about how the Finnish historiography sees this, as well as other material. The book is in Russian and in Finnish. Русская литература о Зимней войне - Venäläinen talvisotakirjallisuus. Docendo, 2013. ISBN 978-952-5912-97-5.

2015 My article (in Finnish) in the book published on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of my Alma Mater, Ressu High School, describing the roles and fates of its students during certain crucial periods in the Finnish history.

A small piece of history:

• List of the first 106 members of the VIC-20 User Club in 1983. I am nr. 15. An interesting name is nr. 13 (btw, the names on the list are surnames first but, by mistake, not his).
